To find out if inter-mashing the paddle wheels from 'MORITZ' have an advantage, 'AAL' was built.
Additional 'AAL' is used as a testbed for an even more simplified version of the 'RAKETE' bow thruster.
In a gear pump inter-meshing gears are essential. On 'AAL' that shows no advantage. Here some test runs:
