To test if a double hull vessel with opposing paddel wheels would have an advtage, 'LOTTCHEN' was built.
It seams the two water streams stabilise each other. Here is a test run:

The Paddle wheels of LOTTCHEN seam to be nearly as effective as the two propellers of MAX!
Recently a mechanical problem was found on LOTTCHEN and solved. Now it runs even better:
LOTTCHEN is a little bit faster than MORITZ, and that with smaller motors!
Maybe the competition with MAX has to be repeated...
